First: these are not official classes

Pack an Order supports solo and friend play with up to 12 players. Picker, packer, and loader are editorial labels that make coordination easier; the developer does not list them as locked roles.

Two-player crew

Start with one picker and one packer/loader. The picker reads or receives the product callout and stays on shelf collection. The second player manages the box and finishes the truck handoff. Switch only if one side becomes consistently idle.

Three-player crew

Use one picker, one packer, and one flexible loader/overflow picker. The flexible player should respond to the visible bottleneck instead of waiting at an empty station.

Four or more players

Divide pickers by a simple visible zone, keep one player near packing, and keep one player available for loading or congestion relief. Avoid assigning two people to the same product without a clear quantity split.

Use short, specific handoffs

  • Say the product name and remaining quantity.
  • Call the target order if multiple tickets are active.
  • Keep dropped mistakes away from the packing station.
  • Reassign only after identifying the actual idle point.
